okay.

this post is very sad to write and also very, very overdue. but we were never quite confident enough about this decision until just now, so.

dl is officially on hiatus (as if that isn’t super obvious already). we still ship h/d as much as ever and love our boys dearly, but our fandom lives have taken new turns and we just don’t have the time to devote to this right now. our hearts aren’t in it at the moment. the h/d fandom as far as fic is concerned has kind of really been dragging the past few months, and honestly if we’re not finding and reading fics we love, there is no point to this blog. as we’ve always said, we’re not going to just rec anything for the sake of reccing. we also aren’t going to go out of our way to spend time reading and hunting down fics just for the sake of reccing, because lbr, we have lives and other interests that are far more captivating at the moment and hey, no one is paying us to do this.

we will by no means be taking this blog down or anything to that effect. ever. we both genuinely hope that things will lead us back here eventually. however, we had to finally announce a hiatus so that this wasn’t weighing on our consciences so much; there really is nothing wrong with our interests changing a bit and us embracing and enjoying the new ones whole-heartedly.

we’re truly sorry if this bothers anyone. thankfully in the course of the last year, we have collected a pretty vast masterlist from which you can hopefully find some new fics to read. we will be closing our ask box and submissions, if you really, really need to contact us you are welcome to do so on our personal blogs.
